Sarasota, Florida Chefs Create Culinary Fish Delights
Louie's Modern will be the scene of some culinary surprises using "trash fish" on Monday, July 21. Steve Phelps, Chef Owner at Indigenous Restaurant is teaming up with Tracy Freeman, editor and publisher of Edible Sarasota along with five local chefs: Darwin Santa Maria of Darwin's, Keith Dougherty and James Baselici of Louie's Modern, Randall Roulette of Owen's Fish Camp, and Christian Hershman of State Street for the "sold out" event. Tickets were $125. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will begin at 6PM and a family-style dinner will begin at 7PM. There will be presentations by Mote Marine and Gulf Wild too.
Guess you have to wait until next year for this one. Sure wish I had bought my ticket!
