Excellent Sarasota Property Sales - May 2014

The Sarasota Association of REALTORS® released its May 2014 data showing property sales continuing to be “hot.” Sarasota County posted 1,100 closed sales for May 2014, 747 single family homes and 353 condominiums. “The figure was slightly lower than April's total of 1,195, and also slightly lower than last May, when 1,127 closings were reported in the My Florida Regional MLS system.”

Peter Crowley, SAR President pointed out that "Sarasota County real estate is such an amazing success story in the past two years, particularly coming from where we were in 2010."

It is no wonder that Sarasota real estate is such a success story. Our area offers beautiful white-sandy beaches with a year round fabulous warm climate. The city’s cultural venues rival those of larger cities. Residents enjoy boating, fishing, golfing, the opera, ballet and just “doing nothing.” What more could you want?
