Sarasota Real Estate Market - 2014 September
The Sarasota real estate market posted near record sales numbers in September 2014 with 934 closed transactions. The figure was 14 percent higher than last year at the same time when 817 properties closed. Sales, so far this year, total 8,784. According to the Sarasota Association of REALTORS® report, “about 200 sales over last year's pace which wound up as the second highest sales year in the county's history.” The final figure could reach the “historic year of 2004, when 11,482 sales were recorded in the county.”
